Nova Pioneer Midrand’s Grade 12 learners recently marked a special moment in their Matric year as the Matric Dance Committee hosted their official Matric Dance invitation ceremony.

The occasion was made even more meaningful by the fact that the Class of 2026 is Midrand’s very first Grade 12 class.

To celebrate the moment, the whole school came together to form a guard of honour for the Grade 12s, while members of staff shared words of encouragement and best wishes for the months ahead.

It was a wonderful opportunity to pause and recognise how far this group has come, while also looking ahead to the many important milestones still to come in their final year of school.

The Class of 2026 is now preparing for their upcoming AS examinations and we are incredibly proud of the young people they have become and of the leaders and innovators they continue to grow into.

As they enter this important academic period, we hope they approach their examinations with confidence, focus and courage, knowing that their school community is behind them every step of the way.
