Our North Riding Campus

Situated on the lifestyle estate of Jackal Creek, our North Riding campus was the third Nova Pioneer school to open their doors. At the helm is Dr Paula Gordon, who brings with her significant experience within the education space, and who credits Nova Pioneer’s belief in the value and inherent potential of each child to leading her to join the network.

The education offered at Nova Pioneer is focussed on empowering our students to drive their future through meaningful, valuable, engaging and collaborative learning experiences. On top of that, we have a deep seated commitment in developing a strong culture embodied in our culture principles – Joy of Learning, Always Growing, Greater Together, Servant Leadership, High Expectations and Solutions First. Our culture principles represent our foundation and is in the fabric of who we are and what capabilities we envision for our students beyond their school going years.

What else do you need to know?

Co- and Extra-curriculars

Co- and extra-curricular activities are available for all grades, and are selected on a termly basis . Activities include (and are not limited to) arts and craft, chess, drama performances, languages, debating club and photography. An additional fee may charged if the activity is run by an external provider.

Aftercare

We work with an external service provider, Sherpa Kids, to provide aftercare. This is an additional fee that is not included in the school fees.

Baby centre

Early childhood is a crucial stage of life in terms of a child's physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. We work with FUNdementals Pre-school that is on-site at our North Riding campus and they accept children from 3 months to 5-years (grades 00).

Therapy (Care Junction)

Nova Pioneer works closely with Care Junction to offer support to students with remedial needs in Pre-Primary and Primary School. We also have a child therapist who is on-sight once a week.

I think the the community meetings the children have are fantastic. We as a family believe firmly that community awareness and community responsibility is one of the core fundamentals in society. Without a strong community, society in itself will fold. Therefore, the fact that Nova Pioneer encourages our children to be responsible and caring and giving, is probably the MOST noteworthy experience.

Grant Son, Nova Pioneer Parent

We decided on Nova Pioneer because we loved the concept of the enquiry-based learning as well as how the school is so committed to nurturing children into becoming young adults who think rigorously about the future of the world. My daughter has grown by leaps and bounds during her tenure at Nova Pioneer. She is very innovative and has become a go-getter which makes me so proud. Nova Pioneer is a great school.

Joco Solomons, Nova Pioneer Parent

The small classroom sizes was what initially drew us to Nova Pioneer. The idea of our child receiving individual attention was an attractive offering. We have enjoyed the Friday Exploration day feedback sessions where parents get to interact with the students and get an understanding of what they do during the sessions and what they have learned throughout the term. The Nova Pioneer learning approached has had a positive influence on my child's curiosity, always questioning and trying to understand life skills.
