Change always brings both reflection and excitement. As we prepare to say farewell to Mr. Opperman, we want to take a moment to thank him for his incredible eight years of service. His leadership has shaped Nova Pioneer Ormonde Senior in so many meaningful ways, and his impact on our students, teammates, and families will be felt for years to come. We’ll be celebrating his journey with us throughout the term, and we’re so grateful for everything he has poured into our community.

At the same time, we are excited to look ahead to the next chapter. After a careful search and rigorous recruitment process, we are delighted to introduce Mrs. Simone Bock as the new School Leader for Nova Pioneer Ormonde Senior.

Meet Mrs. Bock

Mrs. Bock is a passionate and caring educational leader, and also a proud mom of three daughters. She brings a wealth of experience from schools across South Africa and around the world,  including the UAE, Kazakhstan, and China. With her background in Educational Psychology (Master’s Degree) and Honours Degrees in Sociology and Psychology, along with her teaching qualification, she is well-prepared to lead our school with heart and vision.

She is known for inspiring those around her, mentoring school teams, and always keeping student growth at the centre of her work. She also brings strong experience in curriculum design, strategic planning, and creating systems that lead to better student outcomes.
